Stella Charumbira Teacher
Hi, my name is Stella Charumbira. I am married and a mother of two boys aged eleven and two.
The children in my class are aged between 2 and 3 years. I have a Diploma in Education and my teachings focus on a holistic approach where I try to help develop the child as a whole. Emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically.
Every day we have activities that help develop the children’s fine and gross motor skills.
We have our own lovely garden where children are free to play, climb the jungle gym, slide, jump, ride bikes and play in the sandpit with a variety of toys. We have a very big and beautiful garden at the back of the school, where we do our ball skills and other fun activities.
The children enjoy painting and gluing which we do every day. They also love story time and our music and movement lessons, which are good for their listening and language skills.
I encourage self-help skills which helps develop their independence.
Our Fantasy area is where we try and make children feel at home. They make choices, they socialise and they learn life skills. This area also develops their imagination as they decide what they would like to be and play.
We have lots of educational games which the children love and it helps develop their intellectual skills.
The Rainbow children are a lovely family, we work, play and learn together!
The class reps for the Rainbow class are:
